At On Guard Response Training, our mission is simple: empower individuals, families, and organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to respond confidently in emergencies.
From Active Violence Immediate Response Training and basic first aid to AED sales and training and overdose‑prevention education, we are committed to building a safer, more informed community throughout North Idaho.
We believe preparedness is for everyone — and when communities are equipped, lives are saved.
Our Standards
All training is conducted under nationally recognized HSI standards and aligned with Idaho workplace and licensing expectations. No shortcuts. No confusion. Just solid training. On-site group training, Hands-on, real-world instruction, Certification included.
Accreditation & Certification
The Health & Safety Institute (HSI) is a nationally recognized and accredited organization. HSI is accredited through CAPCE, is a member of ANSI and IACET, and meets requirements for numerous state and federal agencies and professional boards. HSI training is equivalent to AHA and ARC standards for CPR and First Aid and offers CEUs through IACET. All programs follow rigorous quality assurance standards, align with OSHA workplace safety guidelines, and maintain transparency through published standards and an instructor and training center registry.
